We did not plan on having professional photography done when our baby was born but had won a prize package from Miko Photography through our midwife's office. We were excited to have this opportunity to celebrate the birth of our new baby - the first in a generation to both our families. Despite some complications after birth, we went ahead with the photo session when our daughter was only 5 days old, and we are so glad we did! Jana was so patient and reassuring to us as new parents. She really took the time to get the best possible shots of the baby and to incorporate our ideas and special family items. Even after the sitting was done, she was able to ensure a very tired and sick new mom looked as healthy as the rest of the family with careful editing! We are very satisfied with the experience and plan to return to her for any family pictures in the future.

Just a quick note to tell you that we were crazy about the pictures! I think they turned out SO well. It will be really hard to decide which ones to
print. I have to say that I went through the photo album three times today (my sister probably went through it about 4 times herself) and we loved the black and white picture with the red Santa hats. My boyfriend thought it looked like a Calvin Klein ad. The whole collage at the end of the album was my favorite I think, although it is really hard to compare! I will be sure to tell everyone I know who did our shots, and pass along my recommendations. Thanks again for the great work, and making it so fun and easy. I will be in touch soon!
